đ Lunchtime Win in Mt. Pleasant: Sesame Burgers & Beer
Running errands with a toddler is basically cardio, right? So when lunchtime hits, Iâm always on the lookout for a spot that checks all the boxes: tasty food, casual vibes, and toddler-friendly. This time, I found myself in Mt. Pleasant and remembered a local gemâSesame Burgers & Beer.
đ Location & Hours
Youâll find Sesame at 675 Johnnie Dodds Blvd, and theyâre open:
- SundayâThursday: 11amâ9pm
- FridayâSaturday: 11amâ10pm
Perfect for a midday bite or an early dinner with the fam.
đ The Food: Burgers, Boozy Shakes & Beyond
Their menu is packed with optionsâappetizers, salads, sandwiches, and of course, burgers galore. You can choose from their signature creations or build your own masterpiece. My personal fave? The Charlestonâpimento cheese, tomato, and pickles. Southern comfort in burger form.
While they do have a kids menu, my little foodie had other plans. He requested sweet potato fries with blue cheese crumbles (a combo heâs obsessed with), but sadly, itâs not on the menu right now. Still, there are plenty of shareables to keep tiny taste buds happy.
And letâs talk drinks: theyâve got a full bar and boozy milkshakes. Yes, please. I didnât get to try one this time (toddler wrangling took priority), but itâs on my list for next visit.
đś Kid-Friendly Notes
- â High chairs available
- â Changing tablesâTBD (we had a toddler meltdown moment, so I didnât get to check. Iâll update this post next time!)
Despite the chaos, the staff was super welcoming, and the vibe was relaxedâexactly what you need when dining out with a little one.
