🍔 Lunchtime Win in Mt. Pleasant: Sesame Burgers & Beer

Running errands with a toddler is basically cardio, right? So when lunchtime hits, I’m always on the lookout for a spot that checks all the boxes: tasty food, casual vibes, and toddler-friendly. This time, I found myself in Mt. Pleasant and remembered a local gem—Sesame Burgers & Beer.

📍 Location & Hours

You’ll find Sesame at 675 Johnnie Dodds Blvd, and they’re open:

• Sunday–Thursday: 11am–9pm
• Friday–Saturday: 11am–10pm

Perfect for a midday bite or an early dinner with the fam.

🍔 The Food: Burgers, Boozy Shakes & Beyond

Their menu is packed with options—appetizers, salads, sandwiches, and of course, burgers galore. You can choose from their signature creations or build your own masterpiece. My personal fave? The Charleston—pimento cheese, tomato, and pickles. Southern comfort in burger form.

While they do have a kids menu, my little foodie had other plans. He requested sweet potato fries with blue cheese crumbles (a combo he’s obsessed with), but sadly, it’s not on the menu right now. Still, there are plenty of shareables to keep tiny taste buds happy.

And let’s talk drinks: they’ve got a full bar and boozy milkshakes. Yes, please. I didn’t get to try one this time (toddler wrangling took priority), but it’s on my list for next visit.

Despite the chaos, the staff was super welcoming, and the vibe was relaxed—exactly what you need when dining out with a little one.
