I’d heard the buzz—Bourbon N Bubbles was the place to be. Owned by Southern Charm’s Leva Bonaparte and her husband Lamar, this King Street hotspot had been on my radar for a while. But I knew from the start: this wasn’t a toddler-in-tow kind of outing. This was a heels-on, martini-in-hand, girls-night-out kind of vibe.

So when my best friend came to town, I snagged a reservation and we headed out for a night of firsts—new restaurant, new memories, and a whole lot of fabulous.

Walking into Bourbon N Bubbles felt like stepping into a modern lounge with just the right amount of sparkle. The lighting, the music, the energy—it was everything I hoped for and more. I instantly knew I made the right call leaving the diaper bag at home. This spot is perfect for:

We kicked things off at the bar, and I went straight for my go-to: the Espresso Martini Flight. It came with:

Each one was smooth, rich, and totally indulgent. Honestly, I could’ve stopped there and called it a win—but we were just getting started.

Dinner: Filet Mignon for the Win

We moved to our table in the front dining area (there’s another bar and seating space in the back), and after scanning the menu, we all landed on the same choice: Filet Mignon.

Let me tell you—it literally melted in my mouth. Cooked to perfection, seasoned just right, and paired with the kind of ambiance that makes every bite taste better. I was so full and satisfied, I ordered dessert to go just to keep the magic going a little longer.
