Girls Night Out at Lenoir ✨

Celebrating another girls night out, my friend and I decided to try Lenoir, located at 68 Wentworth St in downtown Charleston. This gem of a restaurant brings southern hospitality right to the forefront—and let me tell you, they do it with flair.

I mean, with drinks named “Highfalutin” and “Heavens to Betsy”, who wouldn’t want to pop in and see what they have to offer? Naturally, those were the cocktails we kicked off our evening with, and they set the tone perfectly.

Appetizer Delight 🍤

We started with the Barbequed Blackened Shrimp, served alongside griddled cornbread and vinegared black-eyed peas. The flavors were phenomenal—bold, balanced, and downright memorable. Honestly, wow is all I can say!

Entrees Worth the Wait 🍽️

For my main course, I ordered the Joyce Farms Pan Roasted Chicken. Our server kindly let me know it would take a little extra time, and I appreciated the heads-up. It was absolutely worth the wait. My friend went with the Steak Frites, and both dishes were fabulous—rich, comforting, and exactly what you’d hope for in a Charleston dining experience.

Though Lenoir offers desserts and after-dinner drinks, we decided to hold off this time. But trust me, I’ll be back to explore that menu soon.

Family-Friendly Notes 👨‍👩‍👧

Parents, here’s the scoop: while you can bring kiddos to most restaurants in Charleston, I’d recommend bringing the ones who are past the toddler tantrum stage. For parents of infants, Lenoir is conveniently located next to a hotel, and the bathrooms are inside that hotel. There’s even a table area where you can change your child—super practical for families on the go.

Final Thoughts 🌟

If you’re looking for wonderful southern hospitality paired with creative cocktails and unforgettable flavors, make sure Lenoir is on your list. Whether it’s a girls night out, date night, or family adventure, this spot is worth the visit.

And don’t forget—I’d love to see your experiences! Share your family fun, girls night out, or date night at Lenoir with me on Instagram or Facebook at @fabulousfoodventures.
