Whether you’re out with the family or catching up with friends, Holy City Brewing in North Charleston is a must-visit spot for great food, refreshing brews, and laid-back vibes. It’s the kind of place where everyone—from toddlers to beer aficionados—can find something to enjoy.
As you walk through the doors, you’re greeted by a gift shop stocked with branded merchandise and a selection of Holy City’s own brewed beers to take home. It’s perfect for grabbing a souvenir or a six-pack of your new favorite brew.
Just beyond the shop is a small arcade area—a hidden gem for families. My son loves pressing all the buttons, and it’s a great way to keep little ones entertained while you sip and snack.
Holy City Brewing boasts a wide variety of beers to suit every palate. I’m a Hazy IPA fan myself, while my husband swears by the Pluff Mud Porter, a rich and roasty dark beer that’s become a local favorite. Whether you’re into light, crisp lagers or bold, malty brews, you’ll find something to love
You can choose to dine indoors or outdoors, and if the weather’s nice (read: not sweltering!), I highly recommend grabbing a table outside—especially if you’ve got kids in tow. The spacious green area gives them plenty of room to run and play while you relax.
The food menu is just as impressive as the beer list. Some of our go-to appetizers include the Pluff Mud BBQ wings and the Giant Pretzel—both are hits with our 2-year-old too! From burgers and sandwiches to fresh salads, there’s something for every craving.
A recent addition worth noting: Holy City’s raw bar, available Wednesday through Saturday from 11 AM to 9 PM. It’s a fresh and flavorful option for seafood lovers.
For the kiddos, the kids’ menu is simple but satisfying, offering a hot dog with fries or a grilled cheese with fries. Our son usually dives into whatever we’re eating, but picky eaters should be just fine with these classic choices
Parents with infants, you’re covered—there’s a diaper changing table in the women’s bathroom, so no need to scout around or improvise
Holy City Brewing is more than just a brewery—it’s a community hangout where families, friends, and beer lovers come together. With fabulous food, fun for the kids, and a welcoming atmosphere, it’s the kind of place you’ll want to return to again and again.
