Ever since my sister moved to Tallahassee, Island Wing Company has become one of our go-to spots for a laid-back, delicious meal. Located at 1370 Market St., this place is open Sunday through Thursday from 11 AM to 10 PM, and Friday–Saturday until 11 PM—perfect for lunch, dinner, or a casual night out.

🍽️ “Get Baked” and Skip the Grease

Island Wing Company isn’t your typical wing joint. Their motto is “Get Baked,” and they mean it—no greasy fryers here! Everything is baked to crispy perfection, which makes indulging feel just a little bit better.

Their menu is packed with variety: appetizers, flatbreads, sandwiches, tacos, and hearty entrees. My husband is loyal to their chicken wings (every single time), while I love switching it up. This last visit, I tried the Jah’mon Jerk Chicken Tacos—spicy jerk chicken paired with sweet pineapple. The flavor combo was spot-on and totally crave-worthy.

Our son? He’s a big fan of their reggae rice, and he happily shared some of Dad’s wings too. It’s always a win when the little one eats well and leaves happy!

A quick shoutout to all the parents of infants: there’s a changing table in the large stall of the ladies’ room. No need to scramble for a backup plan—Island Wing Company has thought of everything to make your visit smooth and stress-free.
